I went to this restaurant for my wife's birthday. Despite a wedding party taking place, we received excellent service from the young waitress and the food was amazing. We dined in the smaller dining room and had no complaints. There were only about four groups in the room that evening, but the small team working there was fantastic. My favourite restaurant in Essex.We came here for my wife's 40th and our wedding anniversary.It didn't disappoint!Great service from Miriam and the young trainee(whose name I didn't catch) added with a relaxed atmosphere, where conversation could flow easily without it being too noisy.The talented pianist added to the nice ambience.Food tasty and excellent as ever. Good range in vegetarian options as well.Their added touch at the end by presenting us with two hand piped chocolate and ice cream messages for our respective occasions was a nice and touching bonus.Thank You.
