What User doesn't like about The Brasserie:
Not sure if it was because of the time of year, but the limited food choices in this large restaurant were over-priced and only of average quality. We were made to feel welcome by the reception staff and the head waitress. Wait staff were friendly but not quick in their service or efficiency. We had to ask on several occasions for water for the table. Drinks have to be purchased at the bar outside of the restaurant a... View all feedback.
Then a show to dinner. show was excellent, but dinner in brassiere before was very disappointing. we arrived early at 5:45 in front of the crowd and ordered immediately. However, it took almost 45 minutes until the food arrived and many people who came to...our were served first. one of us ordered a steak and we were shocked to discover that they had to pay an additional $ 3.50 for a sauce. in most restaurants, pubs and clubs this is included in the price. Maybe it was an off-night for the staff, but we still have to decide if there's another one.
We had a fantastic dinner at the brasserie. The service was quick and friendly. It's a lovely restaurant and we really enjoyed our visit.
We would try the local woolgoolga bowling club, but were very disappointed. I had ordered the pad thai, which was terrible, the sauce was terrible and I had to send it back, I'm not sure if it was the cook for. the night, so I wasn't playing to try something else, so I had wedge and the smallest salat I've ever had, not worth the money. my man had the lamb and again the soße on him was terrible, although he managed to get through them, again, whether it was the chef in the night, I can't say.
The C.ex club has several good restaurants, but not all of them were open, which was disappointing as we were excited to try the pizza place Papaveros. We dined at The Square (plank) cafe-style and the brazier and found them to be perfectly satisfactory. The club has been renovated and the staff is friendly.
Friendly welcome to this visitor. Correctly administered Covid 19 practices by polite reception person. Dined in the bistro, again friendly and efficient staff member, and shown to our table. Meals were plentiful and delicious, served to our table. Came for dinner and had a grand...time. Management should be proud of their staff.
