They informed us it would take 45 minutes to prepare a pie, and the staff member was quite rude about the situation. We don’t choose to have celiac disease, so it was a frustrating experience. I arrived at the restaurant at 10 AM and found a selection of four gluten-free items available in a dedicated pie warmer, which included three different pies and a sausage roll. The server demonstrated excellent practices to prevent cross-contamination by filling my order first, using separate utensils and a designated paper bag, and placing my items in a separate area on the counter away from gluten-containing orders. The service was quick and efficient, and the pastry was delicious.
