Malabou Café - Coffs Harbour

-Setout, Unique, Decorated, strong personality The setout and design of the restaurant was extremely welldone; very inviting and warm with a vibrant and unique decoration that had a strong personality throughout both the indoor and outdoor environments. Whoever designed this restaurant over the years, should be very proud. -Food was prepared fast and extremely well Overall my family ordered a spread of dishes: Savoury Mince, French Toast, Manhattan Omelet, and eggs anystyle. The savoury mince was presented with a dedicated effort, with a well crusted toast, tasty and well portioned mince meat and a poached egg that followed suite, it was an amazing breakfast choice that ate quickly and have nothing negative to comment on. The other meals ordered had consistently glowing reviews attached to them aswell. -Both Cold and Hot beverages were fantastic The Coffee was well presented, fresh and had a bold and pleasant flavour and aroma, that was sincerely better than any other coffee we could've prepared at home or at another Cafe. The English breakfast was presented in a set that cascaded into its separate parts, able to be poured to the customers liking, as well as with the milk (photos attached). Cold smoothies and juices were ordered and mutually enjoyed and well presented. -Service was friendly and professional Our servers were very fast and efficient, as well as our food which was prepared extremely quickly for its stellar quality, it is clear that a very tight ship is run behind the counter that undoubtedly pays off in customer experience. Overall, Malabou Cafe is the best choice in terms of Cafe in the Coffs Harbour area in terms of overall customer satisfaction and experience, in every area this is a remarkable Cafe that is definitely worth choosing over its competition.

Great little cafe with shady plant-filled courtyard. Comfy seats. Nice staff and no-fuss, quick service. Delicious breakfast! Especially the nasi goreng.

Just Love this cafe with a real eclectic feel. Could be in Paris once inside with all the gorgeous decor, sofas, lights and shelves filled with delights. And the COFFEE is the absolute BEST and consistently too. My favourite coffee stop!

This cafe seemed nice from the outside, but unfortunately we had a very greedy customer experience. We got menus and asked where the bathroom was, got told to become customers and order before we could use the bathroom, as if we were just going to run away straight after..? Then, one of our 3 coffees tasted off (oat milk), we gave it back with only a sip gone, and we had to explain the situation 3 different times as they kept confusing what we were saying. They claimed we were trying to change our minds, but we just wanted a replacement. We weren’t even complaining, just asking for a replacement as we were wasting the coffee as it tasted like baked beans. Then, they refused to replace it because “it’s just oat milk and it can’t be sour”, as if milk is the only thing that goes rancid… It seemed lovely initially but unfortunately I’ve never had a more stingy cafe experience in my life. I didn’t appreciate getting treated like we were trying to “do them over” from the get go – as if replacing a coffee or using a bathroom without being a customer would drive them bankrupt.

Cuisine is astonishingly tasty , beautiful setting in out , lovely caring staff ,visiting is always a pleasure.
