Big Oma's House - Coffs Harbour

My partner and I visited the coffeehouse. The location is adorable and quite intriguing, but unfortunately, the coffee was not up to par. It lacked flavor, the milk was over-heated to the point where it was undrinkable, and we had to wait 15 minutes before it was cool enough to sip. It was so hot that we couldn't even hold the cup. I would not recommend their coffee.

Big Oma’s Coffee House is attached to the Clog Barn that contains interesting Dutch trinkets and a miniature Dutch village that is well worth the visit. Lunch at the Coffee House and try Dutch styled food as well as Australian fare. Look out for the Bearded Dragons that live in the rocks lining the creek that can be viewed from the terrace. Quality of the food and service is always good and we visit often.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The staff seemed unprofessional and unwelcoming, reminiscent of a roadside diner. A smile and better customer service could have made a big difference. The cafe itself looked old and neglected, in need of some maintenance. The pancakes I ordered were undercooked and doughy in the middle. Overall, I would not consider returning to this establishment.

We have been here many times and we went again a week ago. The food was great (as always) and the staff were particularly friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this one.

I visited this place with my family for breakfast and it was a disappointment. The three ladies who are running this place are quite casual and don't pay much attention to the order. We found hair in my food and in my husband's plate as well. Secondly, the lady taking the order never asked whether we would like to have a cup of coffee or a mug of coffee. Mug is a dollar more than cup and she decided on her own to get us a mug of coffee. O ordered chicken and asparagus with pan cakes and she bought me a crepe with chicken and asparagus. With bite size pancakes which were absolutely disgusting, cold and old from the fridge, we asked her to give us with chocolate and ice cream. The lady only bought ice cream. We have $90 for an absolutely messed up order because the lady to taking order just couldn't be bothered. The food quality was bad and I would not recommend it at all!
