We went here for lunch on a Wednesday, our wait wasn't too long 15 minutes for 2 specials Hoki & chips, the chips were hot and crunchy & the fish was cooked well, the staff were rushed but friendly. View all feedback.
What CLUBCOLE doesn't like about Banana Coast Seafood Centre:
As a family who enjoys trying new foods while traveling, we were excited to indulge in burgers and hot chips at this restaurant based on the reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our experience. The burger buns were burnt, the chips were dry and overcooked, and there was a strong oily aftertaste. We also had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our food. Overall, we would not recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.
0/5. Came here years ago, the service was as bad as it gets. Appalling. With one person in front of us in the queue took 25 minutes to be served. Thought we might try it again nothing has changed. Its dirty, dingy with standards to match. They dont want, or deserve, anyones business. Do yourself a favour and move on to Yamba if its seafood youre after.

The seafood special packs at this restaurant offer fantastic value for money. The seafood is cooked perfectly and not dry, oily, or over-fried, showing great respect for the ingredients. The chips were also delicious, and the generous portion of tartare sauce was a nice touch. Overall, our meal was satisfying and hit the spot. Thank you to the staff for a great dining experience!
Extremely delicious fish cocktails, calamari the chips : mmmmmmmm oh so good, when I imagine my favorite chip, it goes in your mouth and your in heaven, well their chips took me to heaven. Left you with a good taste in your mouth. Very good portion and lovely service. It was hardly greasy and left you feeling good. Good price. I've eaten a fair bit of seafood in Australia and of all the places I've been this is 2nd best in my books, that's pretty good to me. Can't wait to go back
If I could give no stars I would. We ordered takeaway given the COVID 19 lockdown. The serving size was too small, a handful of chips, a cup of salad, and one piece of fish which was reasonably tasty but way too small. The chips tasted as if they had been cooked yesterday and re-warmed. The salad contained some lettuce which was wilted and inedible. There is much talk of ‘supporting restaurants’ during this surreal time. This place only stays open till 6:30pm, tough luck if one eats at 7pm. We ordered on Anzac Day and were charged an extra 10% “because it’s a public holiday” . However, Anzac Day in 2020 fell on a Saturday. There was no “public holiday”. This place is all about profit. Never again.
