Gills Indian Grill - Coffee County

I am an Indian. I have tried Indian food in many restaurants in the USA. but Gill's is the exceptional and the best. -A great family owned restaurant. -Management attraction with guest. -Top hospitality, neat clean place. -Perfect North Indian real taste. I would highly recommend to eat at Gill's.

From the moment my boyfriend and I walked in to the moment we walked out, we were doted on by Gill, the chef and owner (and a wonderfully nice man! . The meal was delicious and tasted so fresh. The atmosphere was relaxed, yet elegant and Gill came out personally to tell us that "dessert is on the house!” A truly great place to bring a date; I walked out loving my boyfriend just a licitly bit more! :

I don 't know what is going on with the bad reviews of this place. Perhaps it 's Gil 's competition across town that is writing them. All I know is, my wife and I have been going to Gill 's for four years now and whenever the subject of Indian couisine comes up we tell people about Gill 's. Some say Gill is pushy and clingy I call it being friendly and geniunely interested in his cusomer 's satisfaction which in this day and age in the restaurant business is sadly lacking. But even if Gill didn 't have the best service I would still eat there. It is the absolute best Indian food I 've had anywhere. Everything is prepared fresh daily and of the highest quality and flavor. The atmosphere is great and the prices are really too good. Gill could charge more and I 'd still go because the food is that good. Please give this restaurant a try if you 're a fan of Indian food you won 't be sorry and you WILL be back again . . . and again!!!

I, being a food lover and from the Indian Subcontinent, had to try this place we saw on our way to the Middle Eastern and Indian Spice Store in Manchester. The first impression was, there were a lot of bird dropping right in front of the front entrance...if the owner had any sense he would have cleaned those, that was our first turn off. Although we were 4 on our table, the table had 2 napkins, and 2 pairs of silverware. I had to ask the lady who was serving or bussing, not sure which, for some more silverware. She brought in several forks, no more napkins, and had to ask for those and ask her to take some of the forks back. The food we ordered were all from the specials, one of the dishes was good, the 2nd one was OK, the 3rd dish was not good. When my son picked up a fork to eat, the fork was extremely dirty with dried up food on it. Although, the owner (who was also serving) was friendly, his chef's top also had splattered food stain on it. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We love Indian food. We 've tried a number of Indian places in Boston including the Best Indian in the US as rated by my roommate from Calcutta. We 've learned to cook Indian from him and from others. And we went to Gill 's while passing through Manchester and were VERY pleasantly surprised. Gill 's is as good as any Indian place we 've been to, and better than many. Great service we met Gill himself, who came out to introduce himself to everyone in the place and great food. We ordered the evening 's specials, which were delicately spiced while still being interesting and unusual. I highly recommend Gill 's, and will return when I am in town.
