I WISH I took a picture of the food but I completely forgot. So here?s a picture of the scenery just 2 minutes from the lodge. I ordered take out as soon as they opened and everything was delicious. Pricey, yes but worth it. I think I paid $45 for a filet? And it was probably the best steak I?ve ever had. Plus they do serve cocktails to go and they?re strong? If you love Steak and a cozy, rustic atmosphere, then this is a great place to go. It is a little expensive to expect for a steak house, but I always leave with remnants, so it is worth it. The Cowgirl is my way to and the Huckleberry vodka lemonade they have is wonderful. You? ve got Rocky Mountain oysters for these adventurous guys too. A reservation is a must because they are busy
A truly wonderful experience. The server was lovely and the food was amazing. Top notch accurate poutine. The drinks were solid and the food quality and portions were great. It is not a cheap place to eat but it was worth the money. Also a really cool atmosphere. I had a ribeye with baked potato that was everything you would expect from a quality steakhouse, my friend had the lobster, which I tried and was excellent. I would recommend reservations, but we came by in the off season and they were able to seat us as a walk in, but I would call. Totally worth the short trip from downtown Coeur D'Alene.
Tonight, my wife and I made the 40 minute drive from Spokane Valley to Wolf Lodge Steakhouse. This was my wife?s first time here and my second. The only other time I came was over 15 years ago with my family. With it being Valentines Day weekend, we made reservations over a week in advance. When we arrived, we were seated promptly and greeted by our waitress. We didn?t catch her name but she did an amazing job. As an appetizer, we each ordered a cup of soup. Their two soups were a Cajun Creamy Potato and a Sausage Gumbo. Both were delicious, we couldn?t decide which was our favorite. For the main course, I ordered the Rancher which was a 16oz Sirloin AND a 16oz Ribeye cooked to Medium. My wife ordered a 14oz New York Strip cooked Medium. About 15-20 minutes later, our meal came out accompanied with salad and loaded baked potatoes. The steaks were cooked to our liking and had a nice smoky flavor. All three steaks hit the spot and we were very pleased. Our waitress was friendly and quick. She made sure we understood the menu and what each cut of meat was. She always made sure our drinks (water and beer) were full. The atmosphere was enjoyable as well. Rustic and welcoming. If you enjoy steak and haven?t been here, you must come for a meal. I highly recommend the Wolf Lodge Steak House and will be definitely going back soon.
The steaks were done to order and mouth water. The fillet Mignon was delicious! So tenderly seasoned. The rib eye has not disappointed (it is my favorite cut of meat! . So juicy full taste! I was a little irritated that the couple that went before us without reservations sat before we wait 5 minutes after our reservation time. The service was okay, but the food was on it.
Our first visit to the Wolf Lodge.... what a surprise. The place is huge, which one cannot say from outside. The service was excellent and the dinner was even better. We had the 16oz Sirloin Steak with baked potato, soup or salad and baked beans. The roles that are served are like donuts.... heaven?. Don't think you could go wrong with something that's ordered. A must try.
