Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was exceptional and attentive. It was a bit challenging to identify our specific waiter, as the entire team collaborated seamlessly to ensure every guest was well taken care of. We enjoyed a fantastic meal accompanied by great drinks. I can’t wait to return to CDA for another dining experience. Truly amazing! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Toro Viejo:
Beautifully presented food, with large portions for a reasonable price. The food was nice but not spectacular, and the pork was rather bland. The service and the salsa leave much to be desired, and oddly was lacking horchata. View all feedback.
Underestimated. That's the word that best describes Toro Viejo. My wife, our two friends, and I gave it a try one evening, and the reviews did not prepare us for how delightful the experience would be.
"We've walked by this restaurant countless times, and during our last craving for Mexican food, we finally decided to give it a shot. It had the best Cadillac margarita..."
Toro Viejo has been rebranded as Toro Borracho, and it offers delicious food at reasonable prices. Draft beer is priced at $4.50, and meals range from $10 to $15. I enjoyed a deep-fried burrito filled with meat, and it was fantastic!
Fantastic and friendly service! The environment is clean, and the wait time is brief. The food is outstanding and well-priced.
Jman mentioned that they had the best flan he had ever tasted when they surprised him with it for his holiday dessert. He was initially upset that his brother couldn't be there to celebrate with him, but his mood changed after dining here. He remarked that this place would definitely make him smile more because of the flan.
