What Christina D doesn't like about The Garnet Cafe:
The place was fairly busy for a Tuesday, so my anticipation was high for a good experience. The waitstaff seemed to be a bit unorganized and not very warm. The waitress came to take our order but since we had not ordered here previously, we asked for another minute. We tried to flag the waitress down a couple of times to no avail, it took about 15+mins to finally place the order. The food was ok. I ordered eggs over... View all feedback.

Vegetarian options are safe for her to try new foods. She was very happy to be able to have a wide selection to choose from without having to question if there is any pork product in it.Parking: There’s limited front parking but plenty if you look on the sides in their new location.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, tables available
I ordered eggs over medium, they were not. The pork sausage was very garlicky (didn’t like) but that’s a personal preference as my friend enjoyed them. The pancake was filling and delicious. I would suggest investing a little money in new menus that aren’t stained and crinkled. Also, perhaps ask your waitstaff to smile and at least pretend to like working there.
There were 5 of us total and we got seated right when we got there at 8:30 on a Sunday morning, but it got much busier about 20 minutes after that.Vegan and vegetarian friendly, very grateful for the choices. Some of the best pancakes I've had.Coffee was good for a diner type place.
I gave them a review 4 years ago at a 1 star. Not good service and food was cold, along with the added gratuity. I have been back a couple times in the last couple months and recommend the spaghetti and eggs with bacon or the bean bowl. Good service, good food and grateful we tried it again. I will be back. Oh and the lemon curd is Devine.
The best breakfast I have ever had in my life. A little wait because they were busy but the food is worth the wait. Highly recommend there breakfast
