Das Essen war hervorragend, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und in der Bestellaufnahme schnell und professionell. Ich kann es mit guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

Die Zimmer sind sauber, groß genug, über die Einrichtung liesse sich streiten aber alles war relativ neu und sehr sauber.Die Portionen des Menus waren mehr als groß jedoch geschmacklich nicht so prickelnd. Bei der Weinauswahl taten wir uns schwer, so richtig schmeckte uns keiner. Das Frühstück war dann wieder sehr gut. Aber alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden, wir konnten lange feiern und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

From Rheine it should go to the holders at the lake, there w... read more On the first week of July 2019, my wife and I had planned a culinary tour of the Münsterland again. From Rheine it should go to the holders at the lake, there was an overnight stay with dinner planned (the expert GM reader will know where). On Sunday it should go back from the holders over Nordkirchen and its castle (also with remarkable gastronomy) to Münster, where a railway crossing to Rheine was planned. After about 180 kilometers we would be back in Rheine 36 hours later. So we start on Saturday morning in Rheine and the cycle path went south towards Coesfeld. Our itinerary offered a lunch break. At 13:30 we arrived in the middle of Coesfeld and looked for a midnight trip. The covered terrace of Hotel Haselhoff was opened in the middle of the pedestrian area of Coesfeld. She was well filled, but there were also some free tables. A question to the young woman after a lunch was answered positively, we decided to stay. The terrace is located in front of the main entrance of hotel and restaurant, and it was really neat. Wedding company, other lunch outside and inside, the kitchen on the first floor was audible well occupied by the open windows. Who sees exactly the picture also sees the parking lot of our means of transport (yellow pack bags) this weekend. My wife and I are still on the road without motor support, the last feeling in Münsterland. The two ladies in the service had to do very well, but the cards came to the table and soft thirst quenchers were ordered quickly. Then we had time to look into the map. It's good Münsterland, so I want to call it. They have a few vegetarian dishes (not explicitly vegan), also a few fish dishes, but the focus is on meat in all variations. Since we had planned a more extensive dinner in the evening, it should be easy at this lunch break, lettuce for both was our decision. Woman ordered this in a vegetarian version I read a bit of animal protein on the plate. She was delighted with fresh greenery, delicious feta and a good vinaiigrette. Also the strips of fillet of pig and beef crumbling with me had a good quality. We closed the light lunch with an espresso and attacked the remaining 40 kilometers from Coesfeld to holders. The two ladies at the service convinced in their doing. Despite a large number of guests, all guests were always in sight and were served friendly. I am sure that if you need to spend the night in COE, you have chosen a very good booking in this hotel. And also with food you will be satisfied if you are not only vegans. But they have a hard time with us everywhere, and they must stay in Münster. My recommendation for Hotel and Restaurant Haselhoff in Coesfeld.
