Shiki - Cody
Shiki
Description
Shiki delivers standout Japanese flavors and a warm, locally beloved staff, but experiences vary. When service clicks, sushi and appetizers shine at fair prices and regulars praise the owner’s hospitality. At peak times, slow service, long waits, missing utensils and occasional cash-handling lapses detract from the meal. Executional consistency is hit-or-miss—some dishes impress, others feel bland or overprocessed. The dining room is lively and slightly noisy, and limited hours can make visits tricky. A promising spot that needs steadier service to match its culinary potential.

Feedback
Japanese owner restaurant. It was amazing!!! The food, atmosphere, and employees, everything was unbelievable.
We sat in a booth, which was awesome, I like the design. We had sushi, dumplings, egg rolls, and noodles. It was all excellent, and they had quick service. Very friendly too. It wasn't like A Michelin starred experience, or anything, but it did exceed expectations and fully deserves five stars. My wife dared me to eat all the wasabi in one bite. I would not recommend doing that based on my experience. :
Loved. Yes, we need to wait but was worth. Dishes price reasonable and taste was good.
We wanted to order to-go but they said no because they were too busy but offered us to dine in, so we said yes. It was just the owner and one other person helping serve. We waited for quite a while to order and never got anything to drink; not even water. The food was amazing as always, just didn't enjoy myself this time.
