A very pleasant surprise but seemed very popular with locals so maybe shouldn’t have been so surprising. After days in Venice where average food costs are eye watering this was a really good contrast. Excellent!

Ple... read more Visited here on business with four other diners for a Monday evening meal. Very easy to find south of Venice and Padua near the lagoon and town of Chioggia. Plenty of parking outside off the main road. Very warm welcome in a clean, spartan environment. Service throughout our visit was outstanding. Not over bearing or stuffy just informal and relaxing. The restaurant is renowned for seafood and you are encouraged to let them choose for you we did and were not disappointed. Starters was a mixture of crustaceans in polenta, which was very tasty. We then enjoyed scallops cooked in the shell with olive oil along with razor clams. Followed by crab in a raddichio leaf very fresh. Our main was four large locally caught fish cooked in salt and served with boiled potatoes simply stunning. All our food was very well presented and simple. Not too fussy or smothered in sauces. We finished off with sorbet and coffees. Very nice atmosphere and packed with locals, which was a good sign. Would highly recommend and return in an instant. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful meal and experience.

The ambience isn't too sofisticated, very home-style, but the food is very tasty and fresh. I love oysters and all other shell fish and here i have really a good satsfaction. I have been to this restaurants many times and i have known it for many years, i am from this area and it is on the way to go to the beach....i can really recommend it.

But once you are inside and got a table, you'll be able to taste the best seafood of Italy!
