What Phoebe Christine dislikes about Lone Cabbage Fish Camp:
Interesting place. Right on the water with covered and under covered seating. Bugs were terrible on the uncovered patio (no fans). The sunset was beautiful. The crab cheddar jalapeño bites were served with horseradish sauce. These were just heat and serve. The menu implied they were fresh. The gator basket was served with seasoned fries. The gator was small slivers of greasy meat. The server was very distracted. I am... View all feedback.

I remember the wooden shack and dock from visiting when I was a kid hasn’t changed and that’s pretty awesome. Pretty cool gator and frog statues to take pictures with out front. The boat ride is definitely fun, we seen birds, cattle (in the water) and a few alligators ?. The captain was nice (he took our picture) and operated the boat like a pro. He told us a ton of interesting facts about the environment and animals inhabiting it. Warning you will be in the sun and feel hot then the boat is not moving but feels fine when flying down the river!Wanted to try the restaurant but no one ever came to take an order (we were directed to take a seat anywhere and there was a few people behind the bar hanging out). We had a hungry toddler so we left.I think the price is a little high for what it was but overall I would do it again when we visit the area again.Kid friendliness: They provided kid life jacket snd ear protection.Parking: Gravel lot with lots of parking spots and a boat ramp

I've visited this place twice for an airboat ride, and it's been an incredible experience each time. If you haven't checked it out yet, you really should! The boat ride is fantastic, the food at the restaurant is delicious, and the service is outstanding. You also won't find better prices anywhere else.

Wonderful experience! The staff was fantastic, and I truly enjoyed my time there. Our guide was excellent, making a real effort to show us the wildlife and provide insights about the animals we encountered. One memorable moment was when we spotted an alligator sprinting along the riverbank with a fish in its mouth—such a fascinating and educational experience! I would definitely consider returning if I'm within an hour's drive. The food was great as well, so if you're thinking about visiting, I highly recommend it—unless you just aren't into that sort of thing.

This is a must visit if you are in the area. First, if you want to see gators you need to see them in their natural environment and not in a cage. The air boat captains are funny and knowledgeable and the ride is a great time. Second, they have the best gator we have ever eaten. It is so good! Third, they have live music, mostly 70’s guitar rock. It is an awesome environment to sit outside on the water, eat some gator, have a beer and listen to great music. We travel a lot and usually like to visit new places, but we always come back here because it never disappoints.

I had an amazing experience with delicious food and an exhilarating airboat ride. Our tour guide was not only funny but also very knowledgeable. I opted for the combo plate, and everything on it was fantastic!

Beautiful views. Great atmosphere. Probably better for the bar experience than eating. Very let down on the food. We used to really enjoy the food but haven't been here for a long time. Catfish pieces were awful. Reminded me of how old cut up bait looksand smells. Hushpuppies weren't very good. Everything tasted like frozen pre packaged bar food. Key lime pie, salad and frieswere ok. Super disappointed!

An iconic place to enjoy the peaceful St. John?s river. We enjoyed a late lunch, frog legs and grilled shrimp. The frog legs were fried perfectly with crispy fries. The grilled shrimp were large, seasoned and delicious. The views of the wildlife andtranquility of the river is worth more than five stars. The food is a fiver rating, too!

During our return trip from Orlando, we discovered Lone Cabbage Fish Camp, which features a restaurant and airboat ride facility. We enjoyed lunch there, and the Big Fish Sandwiches were outstanding. The staff was friendly and attentive, and there was live music playing on a Sunday afternoon. After lunch, we explored the property, which truly captures the essence of an old Florida fish camp. Located along the St. Johns River, the site also offers airboat tours where you can see real alligators! Our dog, Swampy, loved spotting his gator family. If you're cruising through Florida, take a break and stop at Lone Cabbage Fish Camp to experience the charm of Olde Florida.

A quintessential Florida fish camp. The gator and frog legs are fantastic. Enjoy live music on the weekends. You can also arrive by boat. There is seating available both indoors and in a covered outdoor area.

What an amazing experience! I highly recommend it. I've always wanted to go on a boat trip, so I finally decided to give it a shot right along State Road 520.

Oh my gosh! I've always wanted to ride on an airship! As someone who is fairly new to Florida, encountering an alligator doesn’t really startle me, but it...
