Drive A1A and googled restaurants. So happy we stopped. Delicious and great service. Bartender was great. We had the spicy cheese curds, mozzarella sticks and the best Clam-Chowder! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jabbers Grill:
I wait and sat down. It was great that we went with hallo, but ended after about 15 minutes. No one ever gave us menus, ordered drinks... nothing. Usually I wouldn't give a bad review of a visit, but I stopped coming here a few years ago because of the exact same experience. The server that helps other tables does not even have everything day we were gone. Seems their service hasn't improved. View all feedback.
We drove along A1A and searched for nearby restaurants, and we're so glad we chose this one! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The bartender was fantastic as well. We enjoyed the spicy cheese curds, mozzarella sticks, and the best clam chowder we've ever had!
I waited and sat down, and it was nice that we were greeted with a hello, but that was the extent of the interaction for about 15 minutes. No one brought us menus or took our drink orders—nothing at all. Normally, I wouldn't leave a negative review, but I stopped coming here a few years ago because of a similar experience. The server who attended to other tables didn't even notice we were there the entire time we were waiting. It seems that their service hasn't improved at all.
After a lengthy wait, half of our table received their food, while the other half waited for an additional 30 minutes without any meals. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive what I ordered, and everything that was supposed to be hot arrived cold. They should have paused taking new customers until they could manage the existing ones better. Our meals took over an hour, and we didn’t receive any beverage refills during that time. This experience was truly frustrating. We had considered giving Jabbers another chance, but given the decline in service and food quality, this is likely our last attempt.
Friendly and mostly attentive staff, but during the lunch break there were only two people to cover both the restaurant and the bar. Quality of food needs work. Burning the toast of a sandwich does not say much for the kitchen skill. Basic menu with price adjustment. Not bad, but not good.
The was my family?s first time at Jabbers ? and we were thoroughly impressed. My wife already wants to go back! The NY Sirloin was tremendous, as was the taco salad. The prices are good, it?s clean, and definitely has a cozy family-type feel. We even took advantage of happy hour. Easy five-star rating!
