The food was excellent, the boba teas were so delicious. We ordered 2 build your own bowls, one of the tropical bowls with Ahi Tuna, 2 boba teas (one milk based, one fruit), the egg roll appetizer and the shrimp tempura. Mmm…this place was so good! They went above and beyond. The cheese foam on top was great. So many flavor choices.
Just stopped in to grab a drink. I got the signature boba and tempura shrimp. It was a nice quick pick me up.
Everytime I’ve come the boba is amazing. The service is very kind and the music is fun! There’s inside and outside seating. Amazing place 100% recommend
Phew! Skinny Mermaid is now VISTEA!! GOOD because SM was really, really bad. SM's boba was hard, didn't taste like tea, all milk or powders, SO GROSS. And the appropriation was horrendous. The poke used to be so sad, disgusting even. Now, it's VISTEA. With new owners. Authentic. Their milk tea actually tastes like tea. They use syrup to flavor the tea. The boba is chewier, fresher, though could be a bit softer. I got the earl grey milk tea with cheese foam and it's sooooo much better than SM's recipe. The cheese foam could be thicker though to withstand the florida heat. I boycotted SM for so long, it was a disgrace to boba so overall im satisfied with the change and improvements. And no, im not friends with the new owners or anything, i just seriously hated SM as an asian person that knows real asian food.
