Jenn, the bartender, provided excellent service and was very friendly. However, I was puzzled by the line to get in, especially since there were many empty tables available. The staff at the pier were not allowing people to enter despite telling them they had tables open.
Hours of operation changed daily in March when we were there. Due to Covid restrictions, the number of people allowed on the pier at once was limited, so lines are very long to get in. Food was okay and the shops were a nice change from the big beach stores everywhere.
Go have lunch on the pier! Ask for Gina, she is the best and hilarious!!!!!! The burger is delicious, and so are the crab legs!!!
There are several restaurants and bars on the pier, along with a few small shops. You can see people surfing on both sides, and the pier offers a great vantage point to watch them up close. It's a lovely spot to grab a bite to eat while taking in the fantastic views.
I would have loved to take my food to go, but the options were limited, and wearing a mask was required, which was disappointing. The lines were long, and they only allowed a few people in at a time.
**Dining at Coco Beach: A Mixed Experience** Coco Beach offers a vibrant atmosphere and delicious food, with standout dishes like chowder fries and crafted cocktails. Diners can enjoy beautiful views over the water, making it a popular spot for tourists. However, the venue has faced criticism for its run-down appearance and questionable service from certain staff members. Parking can be challenging, and recent visitors have encountered access issues to the pier unless dining. Although the experience can be enjoyable, be prepared for steep prices and a mix of well-trained and less professional staff. Overall, it’s a place worth considering with some caveats.

Took 6, 8 and newborn to the beach. We took an uber and walked everywhere. Wish we would have brought life jackets. No place sold or rented them. I didn't bring them because I wasn't sure how far I'd have to carry everything but it was totally doable.
Disappointing that the Tiki bar and most of the shops are closed on a weekend..
The view is lovely, but many shops were closed due to the windy weather.
Pretty views Parking in lot is nearly impossible, recommend finding a parking meter and walking up the beach towards the pier. Not too many shops or restaurants but we found a small convenience store across the street with a small gift shop and cold drinks.
I really appreciate all the enhancements they've made over the years. It's a fun spot for families, with opportunities to surf the waves. The restaurants serve excellent meals and drinks at reasonable prices. This place is a must-visit on your travel itinerary.

Very mixed feelings about this place. Easy to get a table and right off the beach so that?s a plus. Great views while you eat is also a plus. It was just me and my wife but I would not our children if we came with them. The server was friendly but definitely pushing alcohol drinks and wasn?t overly happy when we wanted food. No complaints on him just felt like the environment was a quick turn around on tables and mostly a drinking crowd. The food was good too meh at best. Crabs were over cooked and for the love of god don?t get the aloha chicken unless you like burnt to a crisp chicken tasting like a fart sandwich. Whatever macaroni it?s topped with is absolutely divine though. Calamari was on point and drinks were tasty. Not pricy but not cheap because it?s not McDonald?s. Will probably go again but never getting that chicken sandwich again!
Sitting outside is nice but the food is overpriced, and not very good. Had Shrimp and Crab dip with imitation crab, and boneless wings (really just chicken chunks) dripping in garlic parmesan sauce. Not wings the way you are used to.
There's a lot to do and eat here! I'm currently on my way to the Bahamas to relax and enjoy some beach time. There are some great places to check out, and I'm excited to discover more along the way.
This area is absolutely charming. The pier is stunning, and everything is so vibrant and colorful! The main street brings to mind the iconic pavement in Brazil, with its black and...
The atmosphere here is so enjoyable! We were able to relax and sip on creative, fruity cocktails while watching the surfers on one side and taking in the stunning, endless views.

When I politely asked the hostess to check the dining area for a reservation for my 50th birthday, I was met with hostility. The employee then called security to have us removed just for addressing his unprofessional behavior towards us and his coworkers. As a result, we missed our timeshare open house and our tickets to the space center, all because of this inconsiderate individual. Even the security personnel were taken aback by the situation and suggested that we report it to corporate, which we are currently doing. If this person is still employed there, I would advise other customers to be cautious!
This restaurant offers more than just a beautiful view. The cocktails are expertly crafted and truly enjoyable. The staff is mostly well-trained, with a few exceptions. I've been a regular since before it was acquired by a corporation, and while some of its original charm has diminished, the service here is still noticeably better than at many other bars. Most of the food options, however, aren’t worth the price, as they mainly consist of frozen items targeted at tourists coming to or from cruises. In summary, with its breathtaking view, high-quality drinks, and friendly, capable staff, it's definitely a place you should check out. Just a heads up: the Google Maps location is wrong; it's actually situated on the pier rather than at its base.
The food was great, and the view was spectacular. Watching the birds was a lovely experience. However, the main drawback is the steep prices considering what you receive. If you decide to visit, I highly recommend trying the chowder fries!
