Just off the South Downs way, this lovely little Inn hosted a friend and I for the night. They served us delicious home cooked food and provided comfortable rooms. Single bedrooms had all the amenities one needs after a long days walking in the hills. The toilet in our room was blocked when we arrived and didn’t get sorted but an alternative bathroom was given and with a discount for the trouble. Service was excellent and we felt well looked after and attended to. Breakfast was excellently cooked by the manager Simon. Noteworthy details: Attentive and kind staff
