The food was incredibly delicious and the service was excellent. Our server, Caroline, was delightful. We were also pleased to find that they served kombucha, a beverage we both enjoy. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, not just those who are gluten-free!

The drive is pleasant with a spectacular v... read more My friends and I wanted to make a lunch stop be part of the reason we drove the thirty kilometres or so from Calgary. The drive is pleasant with a spectacular view of the mountains coming down into the valley. The little women run cafe is off the main drag but easy to find with plenty of parking. It is level entry, making this cozy dining room wheelchair accessible. The food is local and organic and the menu is simple and written on a big blackboard with specials changing every day. We were given a taster platter of dips with corn crackers to start and were so pleased with them that we bought some to take home in the small store attached to the restaurant. The service was immediate and friendly. We chose three different meals, the quiche, the lentil soup with grass fed ground beef and a chicken curry that my friend found hearty but a little too salty.otherwise, the food was delicious enough to talk about it as we ate.On the day we were there, our group of friends was not the only one. The place is small but accommodates groups of four or five with ease and my guess is that it is a local meet up stop. I would go back each time I went on a day trip to Cochrane from Calgary and confidently say to fellow foodies, "I know a good place..."
