Always enjoy a meal at JR's when we are sledding in or just going through Cochrane, Jeff,Christine and their staff make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Try anything off of the menu and it's going to be good but, YOU HAVE TO TRY THE PIZZA AND RIBS!!!! View all feedback.

There have been changes to the portion size and quality of some items on the menu. HOWEVER- some recommendations remain the same... Best ribs, ever (seriously). Roast chicken is also tasty (dinner only I think), as is the beef wrap. View all feedback.
Located in the charming town of Cochrane, this cozy BBQ restaurant offers generous portions that did not disappoint. I especially enjoyed trying the fries with gravy for the first time, and they were outstanding. I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5.
Food was delicious ? Service was great. Glad we were able to get a table as they are quite busy sometimes during snowmobiling season. Last time we could only get take out the table wait time was too long.Food: 4/5
The ribs and wings were excellent. Our server Chelsea was very welcoming. The atmosphere and decor could use some updating, and the menu is a bit pricey. Food quality: 4 out of 5.
This restaurant is extremely overpriced and the food is terrible. I regret not going to the fast food place down the street instead. I would rate the food 1 out of 5.
Terrible food over priced waited over an hour, ordered mozza sticks for an ap still frozen, ordered poutine was still cold, gravey was cold chickens fingers were meh 10/10 wouldn’t recommend. McDonalds is better and cheaper
