Restaurant "Zum Christophorus" - Cochem

By "accident" we ended here - and did not regret. What a place!! A wide menu but we - seemed to be - unlucky upon ordering lamb. They were out of that but recommended chicken in a spicy sauce(Yambalaya). As other people also write; it takes time, but indeed is worth the waiting!! - So good - we almost licked our plates in the end. Spicy as promised but obviously home made(which they claim).4 glasses of white wine, 2 bottles of water(sparkling) and 2 Yambalaya=EUR 46,- . Quite ok. Thank you very much

Moin,das Essen wird erst mit der Bestellung gefertigt das heißt von der Bestellung bis zum essen können schon mal 60 Minuten vergehen aber dafür ist es sehr frisch und schmeckt auch gut.Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.Immer wieder gerne wenn die Zeit es zulässt ;-)

Attente de plus d'une heure pour finalement recevoir une assiette avec des côtes d'agneaux trop cuits et des croquettes type industrielles. Décevant ! Les lasagnes de ma compagne étaient trop épicées. Je ne recommande pas cette adresse.Wir haben über eine Stunde gewartet für hartgebratene Lamcoteletten und industrielle croquetteen. Wir empfehlen nicht dieses Restaurant.

Really a cosy place and superb food! You should not be in a hurry, you are served very slow, but the food makes up for it! Everything is truly homemade. Take your time, take some wine, and enjoy

Came across this place by accident and the menu out front looked good. Had the schnitzel and it was very good. Service was also very good. Local wine, of course, was excellent. Price was a good value
