But the biggest problem wa... read more The meal was generally okay. I had a knuckle of pork with cabbage and mashed potatoes. My wife had the wild boar, which was very dry. But the biggest problem was the flies that kept settling on it during the meal. The waiter's reaction left a lot to be desired. He did nothing.

My spouse watched the waitress make a negative look and comment about me to her co-worker immediately as I walked in. It ruined the experience dining at this restaurant after I ordered. The Mushroom sauce was good but the Schnitzel was over salted. Not friendly to tourists, go somewhere else.

The only taste was that of the pepper sauce on top. The schnitzel meat was dry as well with a smell of meat that wasn't fresh. Service was not less okay. Our waiter was prompt but cold in his behavior. I will not recommend this place at all.

All t... read more Very near to the Cologne bridge. This is a very touristy place. We ordered black forest and honestly it was the worst black forest cake I have ever eaten. All the drinks and coffee were fine but very expensive. The Riesling tasted like a low...quality supermarket bought one. There are excellent cafes in Cochem and if possible avoid this one
