Wimpy's - Cobourg

I like Wimpy's Diner. It might not have the healthiest menu, but when we feel like having some comfort food, it fits the bill. This evening four of us were in Cobourg, and we decided that the variety of choices on the Wimpy's menu would allow each of us to find something that we liked. <br/ <br/ Given that we had fish and chips somewhere else for lunch, I decided to go a bit healthier and have a small Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken. Maybe just a touch too much dressing, but the chicken was tender and properly grilled. Then I lowered the health index of my meal by ordering their Onion Rings; one of my guilty pleasures. SWMBO went with one of her favourites: Jr Burger Patty Melt. Our dinner needs were met.

I have been to 3 or 4 of these restaurants and this one is the best. I used to visit this location often, but I rarely go anymore because in the last couple of years, the prices have consistently gone up.

Fantastic! We went to Wimpy's on October 22, 2013 and the staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. Our waitress was bubbly and enjoyable, greeting everyone with a smile and remembering many customers by name. I can't say enough good things about Wimpy's. The server who took care of us is clearly going to be a new grandmother - congratulations again! We will definitely be visiting Wimpy's again when we are in the area. The warm reception we received truly made our visit special.

Worst experience everWe went in for breakfast at around noonWhen we walked in we were greeted at the front by frazzled service staff.

I have gone in a few time and the food is so tasty and delicious. The food comes to your table nice and hot. Then I know that the good cook is on. Other time I could not eat the meal. The rice was undercooked the meal was cold and I just didn't want to go back. I don't know when the good cook is working whoever that may be. So I just don't go there any more. Other Wimpys in Toronto, Scarborough are good all the time, but I am sorry to say that the one in Cobourg you just have to take your chances.
