Four adults, two children.. a challenging combination at Saturday lunchtime. The food was delicious, the service first class, the ambience amazing. Everyone, even the children, enjoyed the experience immensely. Even though I'm from Ireland I will make a point of returning on my next visit to the area. View all feedback.
What Stephen Suzuki doesn't like about The Cricketers:
**Dine-In**
**Meal Type:** Dinner
**Price per Person:** £60–70
**Food:** ★★★★☆
**Service:** ★★☆☆☆
**Atmosphere:** ★★★☆☆
**Recommended Dish:** Cheese Soufflé
The dining experience was quite a mixed bag. The food was a highlight, particularly the cheese soufflé, which was absolutely delightful. However, the service left much to be desired, as it felt rushed and inattentive. The atmosphere was decent but not particularly memorable. Overall, while the food was impressive, the service could use significant improvement.
Excellent food. We had Sunday dinner with escargot, duck, roast beef, and sticky toffee pudding. All of the food was delicious! Charming ambiance and good drink as well
Beautiful pub with a great view and a children's play area... Excellent food, not your typical pub food
First time visiting The Cricketers, meeting friends for dinner. Warm welcome from staff. Great characterful pub. Delicious food. Relaxing and enjoying our meals, no rush, attentive staff. Music was a little loud ,so conversation was strained. Easy to park as has a large car park. Eating areas inside and out .It's definitely worth a visit .
Lovely spot to stop on a sunny day.. you will be warmly greeted and served excellent food here. The building is interesting with low ceilings and old wooden beams, it's been neatly done, clean and tidy. Well done guys!
It was a lovely dining experience. The staff were fast and it's obviously very popular. The pub itself is very charming, watch your head in the bar area if you're over 6ft tall though. Even people of my average height will want to avoid walking with a spring in your step
