O'Shea's - Cobh
O'Shea's
Description
The restaurant featured a variety of food offerings, but with mixed reviews on service. While some patrons found the staff welcoming and the food delicious, others reported hostility from employees. A popular choice was the Fish and Chips, Hot Garlic Tiger Prawns, and pint of Guinness, with one customer noting a difference in Guinness quality between Ireland and New York. Overall, there were positive comments on the tasty meals and cozy ambiance of the establishment. If visiting Cobh, this spot inside the Commodore Hotel is a recommended dining option for a satisfying meal and refreshing drinks.

Food was decent and nicely served. It had a good flavor ,just one of my chicken strips was tough.
Food was decent. We stopped here for dinner on our way through. The clam chowder was a MUST try, simply delicious. The chicken Kiev and fish were also good. The service was okay, we felt we had to track our waiter down when we needed things. Overall, good though.
One of the few nearby restaurants open on Monday evenings. You can get many popular Irish dishes here at reasonable prices. The fish is well-seasoned and thickly breaded. The fries are standard and served with a tasty sauce. The burger is loaded with cheese, and the beef itself is juicy. The portions are huge, so you can easily fill up. I recommend it.
