Not speaking French, it was a challenge finding a restaurant for lunch. Saw the sign and several people inside. Waitress came over and naturally addressed us in French. As soon as she saw my dumbfounded loo2, she made a strong attempt to accommodate us.A Chicken Kebab as well as Filet Kabob were ordered.Good took some time to be brought to table, but 100% worth the wait.Generous portions, prepared to perfection. What Tiara Wehner doesn't like about Jack-O:
This is the third Jack'o that we visit in as many weeks, and most certainly the last one. We ordered the spinach eggs benedict and the apple omelet. The eggs benedict dish looks like it was thrown together quickly. The presentation was nothing to be proud of. The cold spinach leaves laid on top of the barely cooked eggs, which were placed on half English muffins smothered with a tasteless sauce that had little to do... View all feedback.
It's the entry level restaurant. The dishes are clean. The food is correct, at the very best. There is service at your table, which is present but a little bit too casual and friendly if you get what I mean.
This is the third Jack'o that we visit in as many weeks, and most certainly the last one. We ordered the spinach eggs benedict and the apple omelet. The eggs benedict dish looks like it was thrown together quickly. The presentation was nothing to be proud of. The cold spinach leaves laid on top of the barely cooked eggs, which were placed on half English muffins smothered with a tasteless sauce that had little to do with benedict. The outside of the eggs were cold while the inside barely cooked yolk was lukewarm. The ham slice was see-through thin. The highlight of this dish was the home fries. The apple omelet's presentation was similar and it was the worse of the dishes that we had at other Jack-o's. At almost $30.00 with tax, this is a breakfast that we will avoid in the future.
Restaurant very clean and well maintained, service excellent, and food portions very generous. We had the chicken, which was slightly dry, but otherwise tasty
The food was ok, but it took almost TWO hours to have dinner. I think there were only two waitresses in the restaurant. We arrived at 6:30 and did not leave until 8:30. The people at the next table over were also complaining how long it was taking for their food to be served. We finally got our dinners and our neighbors finally got theirs. But one lady at the table next to us did not receive her dinner. Ten minutes passed by and her dinner was finally delivered ... and it was wrong.
Good comfort food, generous portions , terrace overlooking Main St ,service slow waitress was covering 2 shifts so understandable.
