Inside, large packs of strawberries were being sold for around 2000 yen for 4 packs, which I thought was quite cheap compared to market prices. In the distance behind the lined-up vinyl houses, I could see a newly constructed road. It also looked like a levee. I knew this road well. Back then, I didn't pay much attention, but now I felt the impact of the sea being so close and the wide land with the new road in this area. Nearby, there is the tsunami memorial site of Nakahama Elementary School.
