Awesome atmosphere, great/friendly staff, great food. We liked the chicken fried steak and the shrimp! Seriously, my son said he wanted to stay all day and it's after 8pm. ? This was a great place and i enjoyed the live music and watching the kids play and have fun. Only thing I'd personally recommend is house made ranch. I didnt care for the packaged ranch yall gave out. But that doesnt affect the rating. Well be back again. So glad we finally made the little drive and checked it out.?
My whole family enjoyed this beautifully refurbished 100+-year-old general store-turned-restaurant with welcoming staff and charming West TX décor inside and out. The large chicken fried chicken was fresh, nicely crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. We'll be back to try more dishes and will be sure to bring friends and family when we do!

This restaurant delivers exactly what it promises, and it does so flawlessly. Everything is as fresh as one could hope for. The shrimp and catfish are among the best I've ever tasted, anywhere. I have a hunch that they make their own cocktail sauce, which was outstanding. The salad may have been simple, but it was incredibly fresh, featuring perfectly ripe, bright red tomatoes. The country atmosphere adds to the charm. It's not a fancy establishment, but it certainly prioritizes the food.
