What User doesn't like about Pizza Spaghetti Rex:
We had vegetarian pizza, but it was not good at all. The pizza bottom was very good, but the topping not that much. No oregano, no basil, no thyme, no nothing. Even extra tomato sauce was just plain passata with no spices (like really out of the box passata). Come on! I give 3/5 only because of hope and fair prices (and oh well, pretty good foccacia). Beautiful time out of pizza and spaghetti Rex, the family enjoyed it and was there many times. The delivery was a little slow.
Cosy restaurant on a alley in the centre of Cluj. Small terrace in front, which is beautiful and shaded in the heat of summer. You actually have an extensive menu with pasta dishes, dinner salads and other offers, but the reason I go here is the pizza. You use a special dough for the base, and then garnish it with delicious toppings that can be customized to your needs.
I was very happy with the food. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay in this wonderful place. Recommend Pizza Rex to everyone.
The place is very cute and cozy, the homemade pasta is delicious, the pizza is also very tasty, I really like this place!
Conveniently located downtown, Rex is one of the oldest pizzerias in town, that stood the test of time mostly because they continue to serve one of the best pizza in the city. Pasta dishes are very good as well, and another attraction for me is the delicious mulled wine served in the fall & winter seasons. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and cosy due to the intimate wooden booths on one side, but there are also tables available in the open-space area. In the summertime there is a shady outdoor terrace in the front yard of the building.We visited many times over the years, the 3* instead of 5* is because of the poor service and attitude of some of the staff. Some of the waiters are slow and bored, do not pay attention to guests, and for several times we had the (un)fortune of them being on shift. There are others that do they job well, and we'll most likely continue going there, especially for the pizza.
