Jaxx American Restaurant - Cluj-Napoca

They have a nice selection of beers, I had a great IPA but forgot the name. The food was fine, I had the Jaxx Roasted Beef. The portion was large but I'd say the dish was a bit bland/dry, although the combination with the mashed potatoes made this a bit better. Could've used a bit more vegetables and maybe mustard sauce. I came back after a few weeks and tried a Burger, this one was really good, I would suggest it over the Roasted Beef.

The food was ok, but nothing exceptional. In fact, I think the prices are way too high for what they offer. The beef was alright, but it was just bland and dry. A sauce (or more of it) could improve it perhaps, but I wouldn’t order it again the way I had it yesterday.

The food here is amazing, different plates for all tastes and at moderated prices. The desserts and beverages are quite pricy but they are very tasty. Also the serving is amazing and quite fast for a restaurant, the waiters are welcoming. I highly recommend it!

Not too bad, not too good! We had the Nachos as starter and they were really yummi. My Girlfriend had the American steak which was also good. Even nobody asked if she wanted it rare, medium or well done. Fortunately it came medium how she likes it. But sadly my texas Burger was quiet disappointing. Also nobody asked how I want my meat and as you can see on the picture it was prepared quiet rare. The meat had no roasting flavour, which at least for me is very important for a burger. As I don't like to waste food I finished it. But that caused that I was not to satisfied with my dinner. I hope next time it will be better. The service was quick and the beer was good

I only visited Jaxx 5 6 years ago when I moved to Cluj and now it was like a new experience. First things first amazing food. A rockin designe to the restaurant, very friendly staff and extremely fast. They work digitally as the waiter didn't finish taking our order while in the same time another waiter already brought us our drinks. They have great burgers and the vibe is awesome. The place is located in the city center and it's a great place to spend your time, I personally said I'll return. For the rest I'll let the pictures to talk for themselves.
