Costa Coffee - Cluain Meala

Usual Costa fare, but I got the impression today that the staff member that served me was trying to push a sale on me. I ordered an Americano, a frappe, and two cakes. Without asking, he gave me the large, bucket sized Americano, and an extra shot of coffee in the frappe. Honestly, that sort of craic wouldn't entice me back. That's just being a smart arse. I much prefer Costa at The Poppyfields. At least they'd ask what size drink I'd like.

Staff this morning are really lovely, a great space to work in, lots of light, plugs and space.

Coffee burnt my tongue, the staff making my coffee were not gauging the temperature. Horrible tasting coffee. Will never return. Clear lack of training and quality control.

Very poor customer service with regard to limited outdoor table usage. Three customers came in after me in the queue but had other people go outside and take the free tables before they even purchased food, which meant I was left without anywhere to sit with my food and drinks for sit down rather than take away, as myself and partner did not want to take a table till we purchased product. Very annoying, which meant we had to go.back and get our drinks and food to be put in take away cups and packages.

What a lovely place to unwind with a delicious cappuccino and a sweet treat! They offer vegan options, which made me very happy. The atmosphere is pleasant, and there's plenty of space to relax. I highly recommend it!
