The Clovis Meat Market
The Clovis Meat Market
Description
This meat‑focused grill is a local go‑to for hearty tri‑tip and marinated‑meat sandwiches, generous portions, reliable takeout and meal‑prep options, and often friendly service. Experiences vary widely: some diners praise juicy, perfectly cooked cuts, while others report overcooked, fatty or tough meat and high prices; critics also dislike the use of basic white sandwich bread and the lack of late‑day discounts. Great for carnivores seeking a filling sandwich, but expect inconsistency.

Been going to the meat market for years and the decline has disappointed to say the least. Ordered the brisket sandwich today and it was all fat. My husband literally had 3 bite 's of meat maybe and couldn 't eat the rest. What a waste of money! Also ordered the ribeye sandwich and the meat was good but please stop using the wonder bread it really takes away from the meat and lowers the level of taste!
Hubby and I picked up a ribeye for dinner and the meat was so good! Service was very friendly and helpful. We will be back.
I don't meat very often, I had been craving tritip so went and bought the whole cooked and sliced tritip! Totally satisfied my craving, tasty, juicy, perfect temp, just perfect with my Vons french bread! Thank you for not letting me down!
One of the best places to grab a bite,, since moving to the area. Grill at the Meat Market has the absolute best tri-tip sub sandwiches. I can't get enough of these sandwiches! Very filling! Service was excellent If you're a carnivore this is definitely the place to come
I visited the restaurant at 6:30 on Wednesday, just 30 minutes before closing time, and ordered a cut of tri-tip. Once I got home, I discovered that it was the driest and most overcooked meat I've ever had. I was very disappointed. If you're going to sell something that resembles leather so close to closing, there should at least be a discount and a clear notice about it.
