Description

Nestled in Old Town Clovis, this charming Euro-style bistro is beloved for flaky croissants, inventive cronuts, macarons and strong coffee. Sunlit outdoor seating and a cozy atmosphere make it a favored breakfast stop and hotel guests return for pastries and sandwiches. Reviews praise presentation and select staff, but note uneven service and occasional stale or disappointing cakes, with some patrons finding prices high for the quality. Overall, a delightful pastry-focused spot with inconsistent execution.

The staff was very helpful when we were at an outside table on a hot day. We saw that an inside table had become available, but it needed cleaning. Our server quickly cleaned the table so we could enjoy our wonderful meal of savory scrapes!

We sat and visited for two hours over delicious, quiche and iced vanilla lattes. We never felt rushed, and it was very fun to see the pastry Chef create croissants and chocolate filled pastries on the other side of the class window.

Most businesses (especially locally owned try to make their customers feel welcomed and special... even more so when the customer comes in often. Not the Parisian. The employees there are inconsistent, and very rude. (with the exception of two tall, dark haired beauties... I don't know their name. It's not just the employees... the owner's wife is also rude and incredibly off-putting. They genuinely need you to know that you are a disturbance in their day. The food is delicious and the owner, himself is so nice and genuine. It is a shame that his employees treat their customers the way they do.

They have a 5 pastry for $11 deal. Lol so much good food for an insanely good price.

This shop is amazing. The food is spectacular, the macarons are to die for and the service is impeccable. The atmosphere here was like what I think it would be if I can ever get myself to Paris. I think the best part was watching the owner make croissants. Absolutely precious!! I live almost an hour away and I will make this my little getaway at least once a month. Maybe every weekend.
