Today I went into Mod Pizza. I paid with cash. The cashier took my cash with gloves on then gave me change back from the cash register. Without changing his gloves he goes over to the dough and begins to make my pizza. I had to ask him to change his gloves and remind him he had just handled cash. Definitely can’t imagine if this was an online order. It’s just extremely unsanitary and I definitely do not feel comfortable with my purchase.
We traveled to Fresno in April and found MOD through a Google search. We enjoyed it so much that my teen requested it again when we returned to Fresno in November. We love the food and the vibe.
Used to be a regular at the Universal park location till they closed tried this one gave it three chances. The first two pizzas I received the crust was like a flakey cracker and crumbled when I tried to pick it up the third time was the final straw. Iwent in and employees chatting it up with a friend. Finally noticed me and came over I gave them my choice and that's when thefun started. The employee put three full ladles of sauce on pizza. I then ask for cheese and he fills the ladle up a quarter ofthe way with cheese and transfers it to his hand then drops half of it and scatters about seventeen slivers of cheese on mypizza. I tell him if that how much cheese your going to give me make it six of those scoops! He then tells me that he cannot addextra cheese to the pizza per his manager. I have been to multiple mod pizzas all over the country and this one is the worst.The oven doesn't function correctly and it takes way to long to cook your pizza. The employees are rude and confrontational. Theplace is filthy flour dust everywhere. How long does it take for that much flour to accumulate on a sign fifteen feet in theair. My kids pizza came out burnt and had to be remade. This location needs a drastic overhaul.
