Wow, what a find! As someone of German descent, I can confidently say that we absolutely love bierocks. It's hard to express just how much we adore them. Ever since the church stopped making their annual batch, I've been on the hunt for a replacement. Unfortunately, my attempts at a DIY version were not successful. Thankfully, I stumbled upon a bierocks shop that, while not quite superior, definitely puts up a good fight. But yesterday, my search came to an end when I tried the ones recommended by the church. The donuts were on par with Judy's in both presentation and taste, but the bierocks were truly a sight to behold - beautifully egg washed and delicious! I bought four and couldn't resist testing them out. Microwaving for 1 minute left them warm and soft, while baking them created a crispy and flavorful outer layer. The savory filling of seasoned beef, sweet cabbage, and perfectly baked dough was truly perfection. Plus, the size of these bierocks definitely means you'll need two to be satisfied. I'm grateful that this shop is keeping the tradition alive for those of us with German heritage. There are many of us in the valley who truly appreciate their delicious offerings. Let's take a page out of the German playbook and appreciate the quality of their cuisine. They never settle for anything less than excellent.
