I was dining with my grandchildren; my iced tea arrived promptly, but their chocolate milk and orange juice took far too long. I had to request straws multiple times, and I also had to ask for a spoon for my grandson’s applesauce. There were no crayons or pencils provided for the games on the back of the kids' menus. After they finished their lunch, we ordered a treat—a mango smoothie that once again came without a straw. The strawberry sundae was simply a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a few slices of strawberries on top. Our plates sat on the table for the duration of our visit. This experience suggests that either additional training is required, or our waitress simply didn’t care about her job.

I request... read more The manager of that Applebee's did call to apologize and offered me a gift card, which I told him we wouldn’t be using since we wouldn’t be returning. I requested he email it to me anyway, but I never received that email. Fast forward to last week, when my husband wanted to give them one more chance. We arrived around 3 PM on a weekday. There was a bartender and a waitress present, with only two tables occupied and a few people at the bar. We stood at the hostess station for five minutes and eventually left because no one acknowledged us. It wouldn’t have been difficult for someone to glance over and say, "I’ll be right with you." It's disappointing because Clovis lacks many dining options, and we've truly wanted to support this restaurant. Ultimately, it comes down to management. When the managers don’t prioritize customer service, it reflects poorly on the entire establishment. Their work ethic is at an all-time low.

I frequently go there for dinner, and I'm always pleased with how tasty the food is. One suggestion I have is to add pot roast to the lunch menu, which I think would be a great addition. Overall, I'm thankful for all the wonderful meals I've had there over the years. Thank you!

The restaurant had several dirty tables that remained uncleaned throughout my visit. I ordered boneless chicken wings and a beer. While the beer was cold and presented well, I was disappointed to find that about 30% of the wings were the size of a dime. Additionally, they served the food without any silverware. I had to wait another two to three minutes to get someone’s attention behind the bar again, as they were busy washing dishes. The original bartender was nowhere to be seen. Overall, it was a lackluster experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this particular location.

The appetizers are amazing, and there are some perfect options for a date night! The drinks are always delicious, and the staff is friendly and attentive every time we visit!
