Tierney's - Clonmel

I was surprised that the wine was opened somewhere and not in front of us. dessert is just ice. Noisy in the hall. The cook has too salted vegetables and fish. The halibut fish is for me the most beautiful fish. It took a long time for the aperitif balls. They already brought it to taste. I hope so. I'll come back later, when the manager's work is visible. There are no problems with the server team, but managers have to work on the organization because prices are at the level of a large restaurant. I'm sorry it happened on my birthday. But I hope it's just the beginning of work. I liked the service, the team is good.

Really nice meal in this Clonmel pub. The plaice and chips were excellent and with a side of mash with carrots and broccoli. My companion had the steak sandwich ani it was equally good.

Tierneys is amazing seán is sooooooooo kind and very polite to me and my family and we love going here so we put in every opportunity we have

We had a few beers in the bar. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. They seemed to respect their customers. Nothing OTT, just good service.

The place looked fantastic, decked out with loads of decorations, which made it feel like a proper pub. Food was quite pricey but the ingredients used were of high quality. The biggest let down was the music playing. The sad and mellow classical music completely brought the atmosphere down which hindered the entire experience. Some trad would have been infinitely better
