We stopped by this restaurant for dinner, but since we had our dog with us, we ended up getting takeout a few hours later. However, the wait was definitely worth it! Service was fine but the food (breakfast) was so-so. The eggs seemed like they were from a carton and the sausages were shriveled like yesterdays supply, reheated! Really too bad... this location could do well if it cared enough to serve quality "home cooked" as the sign outside says. My husband and I had breakfast and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Everything was cooked perfectly to our preferences - crisp bacon, over easy eggs, and more. It's a fantastic, laid-back spot to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal. Definitely recommend it.

The french toast is really fine. The hotcakes are enormous but not very tasty. The coffee was good. The oatmeal was good. The service was helpful and friendly. This is a terrific place for breakfast.

We come to Clinton annually for our cabin trips with family. We have eaten here many times over the last 15 years. We will continue coming!
