I love Hanami. They have the best sushi on the shoreline by far and some of the best I've ever had. Some of my personal favorites are the spicy tuna roll, the eel avocado, and the stacked Hanami special roll. They source great ingredients and you can tell from the supreme quality and taste of their food. You can't fake that. Don't typically leave reviews but this is my new favorite for Japanese in south CT! Have been a few times can't go wrong with Pork Shogayaki or any of the special rolls. Definitely my go-to hibachi restaurant in the area, not to mention the excellent sushi selection as well. Service is wonderful as well, always a very friendly staff. Highly recommend. Certainly the best asian cuisine around. It has been my favorite place to go for sushi ever since I moved to Connecticut. The staff is always very kind and the restaurant is beautiful.
