Vermont soft white bread is my absolute favorite bread, there is no other bread like it in my opinion. However that being said it just occurred to me that my favorite bread is wrapped in plastic that has red dye and blue dye right next to the bread. Vermont soft white bread is, without a doubt, my favorite type of bread—there's truly nothing quite like it. That said, I recently realized that my beloved bread comes wrapped in plastic that contains red and blue dyes right next to it. The Vermont Bread Company promotes their product as being healthy, highlighting that it contains no high fructose corn syrup or artificial preservatives. If that's the case, why not use more environmentally friendly and safe packaging, like butcher paper or wax paper?
