We entered and immediately rushed to a seating place with a party of 5. We ordered everything and then brought another party of 2 to our table without even asking us, this new party not even talking or engaging. Entertainment was great and it is the same as all other ones. It is fun for everyone and enjoyed the most. Good in this place was good but mostly served very small quantity of proteins (steak, chicken, shrimp... View all feedback.
What A doesn't like about Ooka Sushi Hibachi Lounge:
My husband got food poisoning eating here! He had the hibachi chicken and obviously it wasn't cooked thoroughly enough..... He spent 2 days suffering from it. Also, the chairs all have fabric covers on them that make me question the cleanliness of the establishment.... The service was good, but the chicken was definitely not cooked enough. Thank God my husband made it thru his ordeal alive. Food poisoning is no joke. View all feedback.
We had sushi and dessert. Both were very good, but the dining area we were in was uncomfortably hot and the air didn't seem to be on. The service was average.
Place was great! Decent for a night out with your partner or the family! They were very mindful of people’s allergies. The one down side is the food was mediocre and they drenched everything in the teriyaki sauce and oil. Price was a little on the higher side but again it’s hibachi and you get a little show.
Standard hibachi place. Nothing too fancy but good for a family dinner. The portions were big, but the show wasn’t the best if that’s what you’re looking for. They did saki, and one toss of veggies, small onion ring fire and that was it. I won’t be rushing back for the experience or atmosphere, but we enjoyed the food. It was also very hot when we went and the place was VERY hot. Not sure if the air was broken or that’s how it always is, but we were super hot while eating in tank tops.
We had an incredible experience at Ooka Hibachi! We visited on a Sunday evening and although it is a walk-in only restaurant, we only had to wait about 5 minutes for our table and another 20 minutes for our hibachi chef to start. During the wait, we ordered avocado rolls from the menu, along with soup and salad that came with the hibachi experience. We opted for the vegetable hibachi and the server was accommodating in making substitutions to cater to our vegetarian requests, such as replacing chicken broth with miso in the soup and switching egg fried rice with vegetable fried rice. They even prepared the vegetarian hibachi separately before starting the meat dishes. The fried rice and noodles were exceptional and the hibachi performance added to the overall fun dining experience. While we thought the prices were a bit high, the quality of the food made up for it. There is only one vegetable option available for hibachi, but the staff was very helpful in customizing it for us.
Parking: Server did not know how too add up bill and it was wrong amount
