Mamma Mia Trattoria Pizzeria

On Sunday 19/2/23, we first dined to this place. We dropped early at 6:00, so it was still daylight and we sat outside looking at the marina. The employees who welcomed and sat were pleasant and efficient. That's when... everything went south. I have traveled the world and I have eaten street food in some heavily challenged third countries, but I have never been in such disgusting filthy surrounds. Our pizza was expensive and tasty, the service was also fine, but what I couldn't get out of my head was the idea that if this is what they let the customer sit in, how does the kitchen hygiene look? I have notified them about Facebook with pictures and they have no trouble answering them. I'm not gonna be back if you think about eating here...

We decided to leave the restaurant because we were not served. We sat on the other side of the garden, but were forgotten by the staff to eat left and elsewhere.

The food was enjoyable, but the meals were served slowly and at different times, causing some in our group to finish before others even received their dishes. The service was truly dreadful, with staff members appearing confused and unable to bring drinks, ultimately leading us to cancel our order. Despite recently expanding, it seems that if they don't improve their operations, they may need to cut back. We do not plan on returning.

We used to be in this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed it. We visited a family birthday dinner tonight and unfortunately the service was really terrible. The restaurant was among servants and we waited for more than half an hour to take order, then to serve another hour and a quarter. The staff did not excuse for the delay, and were rude and surly when we were politely asking for an hour how long we had to wait for our meals. We said we couldn't serve Dessert when the kitchen was closed. No excuse has been given again. This is an unacceptable amount of service when considering the cost of meals. Although the food was good when it finally arrived, the attitude of the waiting staff made it an unpleasant and disappointing experience. If there was an intention to close the kitchen before we were served properly, it would have been helpful if the staff had told us this and offered an opportunity for us to order dessert when our net arrived. The owner gave us a 15% discount on the bill, but no intention to talk to staff about bad service and rudeness to customers. Sad, I would no longer recommend this restaurant, especially not if you expect a beautiful night for a special occasion.

Last Saturday 10. Sep we went with friends for dinner as we had seen great reviews. However, the service was extremely poor. Until somebody came to take our order took forever. The young girl had no clue about the wines on the menu she...THOUGHT it was a full bodied wine, but didn't even offer to check... The meals were smallish and over priced. Gnocci 4 cheese sauce for $35 (or thereabouts), nice but nothing outstanding for that price, The Lasagne also $34/35 was cut off a big piece, it didn't even look nice. At prices like this, one would expect it comes in its own dish, somewhat pretty looking. Pasta Mama Mia $36 with ton Bay crab meat and prawns didn't even look appetizing and was not very tasty. Pasta Limone Gamberi $36 was okay but nothing outstanding. No bread was served. Nobody came to check if we wanted dessert or coffee... We cannot recommend this place and won't come back real shame as the location down at the harbour is gorgeous. Last not least, the chairs are nice but people drag them over the pebbled ground, which makes an irritating noise...
