I ordered the Jamaican j chicken and it was so good. The rice was perfect and the vegetables were good as well. The lady that helped me was very kind and friendly five stars in my book. View all feedback.
What Kevin C doesn't like about Unruly Jamaican Cuisine:
Across the street from my hotel. Small simple place. Looks manly an order to go place. appeared very clean. Small menu. Tried the Jerk chicken rice steamed vegetables rice. The chicken fell off the bone, the rice was cooked just right but it was too spicy for me. Maybe because she put extra gravy on everything for us. The lady was extremely friendly. View all feedback.
I was in town over the weekend to watch a couple of Guardians games, checked into my hotel, raised the blinds to my room, saw the storefront sign for Unruly Jamaican Cuisine across the street, and my interest was piqued. This unassuming spot is positioned mostly for takeout, with few seats for those who choose to dine in, and offers a limited menu. Offers are made at the counter through a takeout window.I often gauge Caribbean or Jamaican restaurants by how well they prepare their oxtail stews. Unruly's stew had a little more heat than I anticipated guessing their recipe actually uses scotchbonnets vs. jalapenos), and it was delicious. The server even added in extra jus into my order ... As if she knew my heart. The portion was generous and reasonably priced. There also were bottles of fun, Jamaican sodas available for purchase. Overall, a good restaurant to satiate cravings. If this place were in Chicago, I'd frequent it often.

So good, and authentically spicy, j chicken. Accompanying rice and veggies were excellent. An easy stop on the way home from work I will be back weekly! The only criticism is the chicken was more braised than grilled, but given the incredible flavor all is forgiven! Please note the prices have changed $20 for j chicken, $30 for goat curry, and $40 for fish. Given the flavor and the large portions, the $20 for the chicken was well worth it. I'll get the goat next time. Don't know about $40 for the fish though maybe if the goat is also excellent!
Delicious food (we had J Chicken and Curry Chicken! Appears that it is mostly a carry-out place, but there are a few tables to eat inside.
