Proof - Cleveland

I heard they had the best ribs in town. They did not disappoint. You could literally pull the bones out of the meat and they came out perfectly clean. The meat was so tender it melted in my mouth. If you love ribs, this is the place to go in cleveland.

Came by for dinner while on s business trip and being from Texas I needed to see what Ohio bbq was like. Proof has a really cool kinda modern speakeasy vibe. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Got a blackberry bourbon Mule and it was superb! I willsay though I was a tiny hesitant to drink it because the bartender picked through five containers of moldy blackberries to haveenough for the drink. For my meal I got the brisket with thier spicy sauce and sides of mac n cheese and slaw. The brisket I gotwas sadly mostly fatty pieces and lacked good bbq flavor. The sauce had no spice and was the most bland bbq sauce I've everhad. Now the sides were absolutely bomb and in my opinion saved the meal. The mac n cheese was rich, creamy, cheesy goodness.The slaw was a nice vinegar base with crispy veggies, perfect for cutting the richness of the mac.

You might walk right past this little spot below Crust, but you would be missing out.... delicious slow-smoked meats and yummy sides. The drinks are good as well, tried Rosemary 's Baby and it was tasty! This venue doesn 't seat a whole lot of folks, so youmay have to wait, but it will be worth the wait! The hubby and I shared the chicken and brisket platters and ordered an extrapound of brisket to go ???????? Both meats were tender, juicy, and delicious. Their cornbread is delish and the side ofmac-n-cheese had great flavor. It is noteworthy that the food is served quickly, so you can easily grab a quick bite if you areon a tight schedule (if you can get a seat). They can also make it to go !

Pretty amazing little BBQ joint under Crust in Tremont. Brisket was very tender and tasty, practically did not need any sauce with it to eat. Mac and cheese was downright tasty but wasn't a fan of the baked beans (not to say you will not likethem...might be just me! . There a patio out back that will not only serve you Proof but Crust as well. Looked like a largepatio too!

Sunday brunch is back at Proof! We tried the Hash and the Classic, both were excellent exactly what we?ve come to expect from this place. And the patio?pure bliss!
