This is a classic neighborhood restuarant. Sometimes it is great and sometimes it's not just like me! It is not a corporate establishment with computer generated food meeting ASTM dietary standards. It is a bunch of people turning out tasty, and flavvorful dishes at reasonable prices. The boss may shout at the cook. The food was good, but service sucked. I understand if you are busy and have a lot of people to take care of, but the waitress we had on 7-1-24 was very inattentive to us as customers. We asked for extra dressing for salads and butter my baked potato never received either. Never seen much of the waitress at all View all feedback.
Was sad to drive there from Knoxville to find them permanently closed.
The lobby isn't open, it's drive thru only. Doesn't affect the chicken though- it's still very good and crispy, the biscuits are flakey and rich. The tater wedges are very good andy lds love the mac-n- cheese.The tea, however, should have been poured out as it had already soured.
Cheap, very nice customer service, would recommend ?
We need more of these to come back.. made a point to stop here from Knoxville to Birmingham and then went again on the way back home few days later.
The biscuit was buttery. The country fried steak was tasty!
