Contribute FeedbackThe Harp receives my highest praise in every aspect. My friends and I dine there at least once a week. The Irish menu is hearty—no pun intended—with a variety of options including steaks (especially the hanging steak), chicken, fish, salads, and more. You'll also find traditional Irish dishes, including various versions of boxty, often featuring potatoes. The ambiance is fantastic; during summer evenings, you can enjoy your meal on the veranda overlooking Lake Erie. The bar offers a great selection of beers and ales from Ireland, along with every Irish whiskey I've ever heard of—be sure to try Powers; its cognac-like flavor is impressive for its price. The operations are overseen by Karen, who is both knowledgeable and entertaining. Occasionally, there are musicians performing Irish tunes, but to my untrained ear, they all sound quite similar, and I can't make out the lyrics. Fortunately, if you want to escape the music, you can easily find a quiet corner or step outside. I highly recommend trying The Harp; I'm confident you'll be pleased with the food, reasonable prices, and excellent service.
