My husband and I went to Society Lounge for the first time to celebrate our small wedding ceremony. The atmosphere is incredible and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! We mentioned our wedding to staff member Tails and she promptly brought out a couple glasses of bubbly so we could celebrate. I definitely feel like every bartender and server here goes out of their way to make their customers feel like VIPs... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Society Lounge:
They won't tell you what a drink costs after they close your tab... When I questioned why a vodka soda lime, a vodka cranberry and an old fashioned was $59 (the specialty old fashioned appeared on the menu for $14) they said that's just what it is with taxes and tip. This place used to be a very nice cocktail bar. I won't be returning. View all feedback.
Speak easy vibe! No screens anywhere which for me is a a major win! Elegant, excellent service and ambience cocktails are amazing!
What a great little place. High quality cocktails and great service. Just a great mood.
Wanted to see the Christmas decor and to grab a drink while we were out on the town shopping/taking in Christmas lights. The decor was cute, not what I expected as I thought there’d be more. It’s kind of hidden as you have to go down some steps like it’s in a basement. We went on a Tue evening so it wasn’t busy. The hostess seated us, we waited for over 25 min and no one would still wait on us. They were all talking and even walked past us several times but still never acknowledged us. I had to squeeze into the bar to grab us drinks which took another 15 min. Three drinks for $60 and they weren’t even that good. Pretty ridiculous, I guess I can say that it was an experience. Definitely wouldn’t go back as there are better bars with better service in the area.
Stopped by yesterday with my 24 year old daughter. Got there around 4:45. It was our first time visiting the bar.The décor was nice, and they did an outstanding job with the Christmas decorations. There were two bartenders, and those guys were working their butts off. Drinks were good, and the wait staff was friendly. My only complaint is that the service was very slow. They need more wait staff; there are simply too many patrons for the number of people working there. But I understand it’s really hard to hire people for these positions nowadays, which is why the long wait times are probably not the owner’s fault.
The atmosphere was a lot of fun and the decor was over the top in a great way. I loved the themed cocktails and how even the bartenders were all wearing Christmas sweaters. However that's all the positive things I can say. The drink that I got wasn't good, I only drank about a third of it. The bartenders weren't particularly friendly, they were nice enough but did not indulge me in a brief conversation. When I closed out I was notified that a tip was already included, but the machine was prompting me for another tip, which I thought was odd. And on top of that the bouncer upstairs was offering to take Polaroid pictures of people for a whopping $10. Felt a little like taking advantage of potentially drunk customers. Other people looked like they were having a good time, and my experience could've been a fluke, but overall not impressed.
