I ordered the maple mustard salmon with potatoes and grilled vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious. My waiter, Matt, was very friendly and checked on me multiple times. The food was served promptly. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Shula's 2 Steak Sports:
We weren't aware before our arrival that it was not the same Shula restaurant we remembered from the past. It had been at least 10 years since we had last visited. The place had a sporty vibe throughout, but the dining area was closed. We ended up eating at the bar, where there were a few TVs. The food and service were quite good. View all feedback.
The restaurant was empty, and we were seated on the far side, where it felt oddly quiet. The waitress didn’t provide us with plates to share our appetizer or even for the chicken wing bones. Instead of serving our salads and soups beforehand, she brought them out with our main course. When it was time to pay, she took the itemized receipt with her—likely on purpose since the gratuity had already been included. Fortunately, my husband stopped me from signing the check, or I would have tipped her again.
I had Shula's certificates to celebrate a birthday and a wedding anniversary. However, when I checked with the hotel desk, they were unsure if the certificates would be honored and said I needed to come in to find out. I had been out of town and wasn't aware of the name change. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant. I understand that staffing and food quality are challenging issues at the moment, but the transition was not well managed. There are many other great options nearby.
I've visited this restaurant a couple of times, and each experience was pleasant. The waiter was friendly, and the food was well-prepared, so I have no complaints. However, it seems like fewer people are interested in dining there lately, as it was quite empty during my visits.
This place was terrible. First off, it is no longer Shula 's despite the online perception that it is. It is now called The Sanctuary . The food was absolutely awful and despite the menu purposely being similar to when it was Shula 's as well as the prices, it was not high-end dining in any way. Very disappointed in the deception that they are still Shula 's and not finding out until you get there.
Davia is the best, always smiling, and makes you feel at home. Food is always good too Davia is the only reason I come back to this hotel. The hotel needs updating not terrible, but needs to be refurbished. The only constant is Davia, always a smile, and always goes above and beyond to keep customers happy
