Nate's is exceptional! My top recommendation is the raw Kibbe—it’s absolutely delicious! The hummus, baba ganoush, and fattoush are all fantastic, and the service is outstanding as well. Overall, I give the food a perfect 5/5! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Nate's Deli:
We both ordered the same wrap, which consisted solely of chicken cubes and garlic sauce. While the flavor was enjoyable, we left feeling hungry and disappointed by the lack of other ingredients in the wrap. When we placed our order, we inquired about the contents, but the waitress merely pointed to an item on the menu and didn’t offer to let us add anything. Additionally, the service was somewhat rude and rushed. Alt... View all feedback.
My daughters, wife, and I visited on Monday afternoon for a quick lunch. I ordered the pastrami on rye, served hot with Swiss cheese, and it was a fantastic sandwich at a reasonable price considering the size. My wife and kids were also pleased with their meals. I’ll definitely stop by again the next time we’re in Cleveland and looking for something to eat.
I stopped by to meet a friend for lunch and found the restaurant to be quite empty. The service was prompt, and I decided to try the Nate's Special Sandwich. They offer a diverse menu, including Mediterranean options. I look forward to returning!
There?s really no polite way to say this?but the food here was pretty awful. We ordered the Grilled Platter (which included shish kebab, shish tawook, and kafta over rice). All the meats were dry and tough, with a texture as if it had been heated inthe microwave for too long. The rice tasted too much like the commercial boxed rice pilaf you get at the grocery store. Itdoesn?t seem like whoever is managing the cooking has actually stopped to taste for a moment what is being served out to thecustomers. Very unpleasant food. Giving it a better rating because the staff was warm and hospitable.
Overall, the Middle Eastern food here is excellent. I came for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the minimal wait time for service. The staff was friendly and offered great recommendations that enhanced my meal.
I got to visit an old friend. I started eating at Nate's during grad school, and remember the food was delicious. 25+ years later it is still good. Had baba ghanoush, tabouli and a gyro, for lunch today, and it was as good as I remembered. PS my sonliked his platter.
