Masthead Brewing Co. - Cleveland

In the city on business and decided to stop for a local craft beer and a few great foods. the beers were top notch, the flights were amazing, the prices are fantastic and the staff are also great. the pizzas were an excellent choice very unique very tasteful and wonderful all-around highly recommended when they are in cleveland.

I didn't have a lot of free time in Cleveland but couldn't miss getting out and trying a local brew or two. Masthead was walking distance from my hotel, so that's where I went and I really am glad I did. Terrific beers in a fun beer hall atmosphere. I don't generally go to breweries for food, but I did really enjoy the pizza. I got a basic pepperoni and it was the perfect companion to the beer. They offer something for a variety of tastes and I really enjoyed their traditional brews. Service was attentive and very friendly. I have to remark on a bartender...I wish I had gotten her name. A kid came up and asked for a shot but didn't know what he wanted. (apparently missing the fact that he was standing in a brewery) The bartender was very helpful and asked what type of flavors he liked. The one part I overheard was him saying I don't know...do you have...gin . To which she responded (very friendly still) You want a gin shot . Anyway, they worked on it a bit more and she made him a mix of gin and grapefruit juice, which I'm assuming he liked. I've been to breweries and bars where that sort of thing would get you laughed out the door. (perhaps justifiably) She handled it really well and I think it's a nice representation of how this place treats their customers. Definitely don't miss this place for the excellent beer and service!

The beer is phenomenal. The pizza is just as phenomenal. Get the sausage pizza- good flavors and basked in a brick fire oven!

We booked a separate dining area for a graduation dinner and Maria their events planners was phenomenal! I have been booking events for my professional life for years but for my son’s graduation, there’s a lot more at stake. She gave suggestion, did not try to oversell me and was very much interested in the event’s success. Food was amazing and service astounding! What’s more incredible is there was a last minute crisis and Maria had to have it all packed up and make it to go! This was an incredible feat! We had 20 people. Go to this restaurant, not only for the amazing food; this is a place where you want to spend your money because the people are terrific!

Awesome place. Awesome beers. We had a great time and loved each beer we had. The food was great too. Will definitely go again on our next trip to Cleveland.
